**Urgent Appeal for Help**
Hurricane Helene has devastated all communities across Western North Carolina, hitting immigrant workers and their families especially hard. Homes have been destroyed, roads in and out of homes have been completely washed away, jobs have been disrupted, and access to basic necessities like food, cell coverage, internet, water, and electricity is scarce. Latino immigrant workers, who are already at the margins, are now facing unimaginable hardship and need your support.
**Your Donation Can Make a Direct Impact**
The Western North Carolina Workers’ Center Hurricane Help for Latinx Immigrant Workers Fund has been launched to provide immediate financial support to Latino immigrant workers and their families. Every dollar raised will go directly to these workers, helping them access essentials like food, water, temporary shelter, and transportation to safety.
**Our Current Needs Include:**
– Financial assistance for temporary shelter and basic needs
– Emergency supplies: food, water, dry ice, batteries (AA, AAA), portable chargers, flashlights, solar-powered lights, a 3.5-gallon bucket with a metal handle and lid, and other essential tools.
– Portable chargers, flashlights, and other essential tools
– 4-wheel-drive vehicles and fuel to access remote, flood-affected areas
– Cash to purchase critical goods, as many stores are operating on a cash-only basis
**How You Can Help**

Your generosity will go toward:
