The Board of Directors of the Western North Carolina Workers’ Center is thrilled to announce and welcome two new Co-Directors, Magaly Urdiales and Hunter Ogletree . The Board believes strongly in shared leadership, and Magaly and Hunter will do a great job in implementing the organization’s new five-year strategic plan, along with helping to build a stronger community of marginalized workers around the region.
Magaly, a native of Peru, has been responsible for the design, organization and implementation of Western North Carolina Workers’ Center women’s program since 2011. Magaly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and enjoys participating in Woman Song of Asheville, a women’s community chorus.

Hunter Ogletree, a former Peace Corps Volunteer, has been with WNCWC since 2013 supporting the organizations grant writing and fundraising. Hunter holds a Masters degree in business administration and enjoys being outdoors in the natural beauty of WNC and traveling.
